A few steps from the Place Pigalle, The ART aujourd'hui gallery opened its doors on april 2013, in a nice space of 115 m2, overlooking a quiet street in the heart of the Romantic and Impressionist painters' neighborhood of Paris, world wide nowadays called "SoPi (South Pigalle).
The gallery, led by experienced art lovers, Daniel Chassagne, Marianne and Philippe Rillon, focuses the eye of art lovers towards new discoveries and true aesthetic emotions. Its choices of artists wish to give back its full meaning to the concept of a work of art.
Painters and sculptors (about fourty) share out authenticity and originality in the plurality of their expressions.
Whenever possible, the exhibitions are organized around a theme. The large gallery spaces allow us to do so, in order to organize view and reflection on the diversity of the artists.
We also have some moments for the rediscovery of the great artists who are gone.
A fund of 20th century works is also available for art lovers.
The Gallery is actually closed for summer till september 21. It will reopen with an exhibition " L'invention du paysage " ("The invention of landscape") - Jean François OUDRY , Gottfried SALZMANN, Bernard THOMAS-ROUDEIX (paintings), Hideko MIYATA, Yukichi INOUE ( sculptures). Opening on september 21.
